professional experience
Shadowing human rights barristers 2023
In the summer of 2023 I shadowed two human rights lawyers (Shu Shin Lu and Sarah Palin), at the High Court of justice in London. I gained a detailed insight into the reality of pleading in court, which I found fascinating. The two cased were very different, the first involving a age dispute of a young person seeking asylum and the second was a libel case against a medical journalist.
Freelance Teacher 2019 - 2025
Alongside my studies I taught music and English to both adults and children, individually and in groups, working in language and music schools. I have now accumulated lot's of experience as a teacher, acquiring an acute understanding of and fascination with the learning process.
Freelance Website Designer 2020 - 2025
I create websites for professionals, specifically in the mental health sector. I am able to code in several programming languages and use a variety of programming and design tools.
Professional Cyclist 2019 - 2022
I have lived in several different European countries and travelled to even more. I started cycling at a young age which instilled in me a discipline drive and work ethic which informs all aspects of my life. I don't simply have experience being in a team, I lived in a team for several years.
